be "trained" to recognize commands in other languages. Amazingly
simple and compact.
Plug your existing earbuds or headphones into the ACCENDA VOICE
CONTROL for iPod, plug the cable into the iPod dock connector, and
you are ready to TELL your iPod what to do. The tiny (1?") lightweight ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL may be
hung around your neck or clipped to your clothing and is powered by
the iPod itself so you never have to worry about charging it.
Once connected to the iPod media
player, the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL
for iPod is always
on, listening for the user to say the prompting word "iPod." It
then listens for the voice command and performs the desired
operation. An "auto-mute" function allows the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL
for iPod to be
used with external speakers (or automobile audio systems that use
the iPod headphone port) by muting the audio so the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL
for iPod can hear
the command. The wellthought-out product even includes a bass-boost
function for improved listening with lower-cost ear
buds.

Quick Start
- Plug your existing headphones into the headphone jack on the
bottom of the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL for iPod
- Plug the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL cable into the dock connector on
your iPod. You will hear the word "hello" in your
headphones.
- When the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL light is red, it is listening
for a "keyword." The keyword tells the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL
to listen for an instruction. Say the factory default keyword
"iPod."
- Wait until the light turns green. Then say one of the
following instructions:
- Play Music
- Stop Music
- Next Track
- Previous Track
- Rewind
- Volume Up
- Volume Down
- Exit

Setting Preferences
While the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL for iPod works right out-of-the-box
for nearly all users, you can set your own preferences if you wish
to use commands in a language other than English or if you have a
strong accent. While wearing the headphones, press
and hold
MENU for two seconds.
- Press MENU to move to the next menu item
- Press SELECT to adjust the menu item
Follow the prompts to
- say or substitute your own commands
- Turn Bass Boost on or off
- Change the keyword prompt sound
