Cyberon recently introduced new speaker independent voice control phone software called "Voice Commander" being embedded in some phones primarily sold in Asia but is expected to eventually make it into more models in Europe and the US. The features seem good on paper, but performance especially with any background noise tested very poor. There is also a speaker independent version called "Voice Dialer" offering fewer features than Voice Commander, however do not confuse it with their highly inferior speaker dependent "Voice Speed Dial" product.

Normal free speech voice recognition to dictate text messages, e-mail, notes, contact info, etc. using large voice recognition dictionary! However, these phones do not include VSuite and user must be able to push and hold Talk button on the phone which is often on the side of the phone. This makes them unusable for many disabled individuals with mobility impairments. Other models of Symbian phones not listed do not support VoiceMode 2.0. Voiceaid speaks menu options aloud - great for the blind/poor vision.
