Prior to my accident, I [Mark Felling, Broadened Horizons President] taught test automation and quality verification techniques to cell phone manufacturers like Motorola & Samsung. As an independent consultant, a few months ago I personally tested the new, unique multipairing features of this headset and ensured voice-recognition quality with my Dell Inspiron 9300 laptop with built-in Bluetooth for the smaller manufacturer of this new headset incorporating the latest Bluetooth technology. Product Description: Small and light (8.5 gram), the Bluetooth wireless headset is packed with all of the features you need. Requirements
Computer, PDA, or phone must minimally support Bluetooth v1.2 Class II but v2.0 with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) preferred. Most newer laptops such as the Dell Inspiron 9300 and Apple G4's or tablets from Motion Computing have this Bluetooth support built in. Otherwise add the optional USB Bluetooth v2.0 EDR Class II Dongle/adapterBackwards compatible to older, more commonly available Bluetooth 1.1 standard for phone conversations, etc. Compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, & Vista with appropriate drivers for Bluetooth hardware. Hello Mark,
I have the headset up and running. Actually, I'm enjoying it very much. I feel it is doing a better job than the wired in headset. I was a little apprehensive about using voice recognition with Bluetooth in Windows Vista, but it seems to work very well.
I want to thank you for all the time and trouble you have taken with me. I certainly have run into a lot of snags, and you got me out of them just fine.
I am using the headset in my ear, because that seems to be the easiest for me to use. I still run into problems, but so far I have been able to work them out.
