Switch Adapted Nintendo Wii Wiimote Package
No grasp or finger dexterity required! Get into the game on the Nintendo Wii! Attaches to forearm or hat to play most games with arm or head movement. Operate A & B buttons using adaptive switches with the opposite hand or sip and puff.
The Nintendo Wiimote with its ultrasensitive spatial motion sensing and infrared position sensing is truly a unique and amazing piece of technology and offers great potential for therapists to work with clients in a new, FUN way! Much anticipated by many disabled gamers, they hoped it would revolutionize gaming for those with limited dexterity to push little buttons. Unfortunately, with the continued need to push buttons that never materialized. It was a challenge, but by switch adapting the two buttons used in most games, we hope you will enjoy the new possibilities!

Differences Between Standard Controller to Be Aware of...
Wiimote and Wii Limited Dexterity Classic Controller Expansion uses analog buttons which means if the button represents acceleration, pushing it down half way accelerates the vehicle 50% whereas pushing it down all the way it accelerates the vehicle 100%. Ability Switches are discrete instead of analog (actually the preference of many gamers) and consequently either fully on or off (0% or 100%). This generally doesn't limit gameplay but may change the dynamics of gameplay on some games.
Wii Limited Dexterity Classic Controller Expansion only has Left Joystick and does not have a method of controlling the right analog joystick on the standard OEM controller. this is a nonissue on many older games or can be resolved by selecting a controller configuration in the game setup which only utilizes the left joystick and button controls.
Try or rent games before buying and select ones appropriate to your skills and physical abilities.
Question: Why didn't you switch adapt all of the Wiimote buttons?
Answer: This simply was a choice or trade-off. There is very limited space to bring wires for more buttons out of the controller so we focused on the most important ones. More wires would require finer wires which would be more susceptible to breaking.
